Effizienz-Agentur NRW

The Effizienz-Agentur NRW – abbreviated as EFA – is the centre for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the German state of »North Rhine-Westphalia. The objectives of their work are comprehensive strategic and technical improvements concerning the sustainable economy -through new strategies, innovative technology and ecologically-oriented measures.

Since it was founded in 1998 as part of an initiative set up by the Ministry for the Environment in NRW, EFA has continually and successfully extended their consulting and service range. In the meantime, there is a team of 25 EFA employees in Duisburg as well as in the regional offices in Aachen, Bielefeld, Munster, Siegen and Solingen. These consultants strive to reach as many small to medium-sized companies in NRW though the intelligent management of concrete financial advantages which they can benefit from today and tomorrow.

Today, the Effizienz-Agentur NRW is not only a competent and reliable partner for medium-sized enterprises, it is also a capable intermediary between industry, science, politics, the media and the public.

As an authority for optimised knowledge transfer and target-oriented project activities, EFA coordinates services from developers, providers, funding bodies and users of futuristic innovations. As a result of this, more and more products and services in all industrial sectors and areas of modern industry are emerging. With regard to environmental compatibility and economic efficiency, these products and services are pursuing new paths and this is why they are prospering in international markets.
